BioBeam 660 - For Diabetic Ulcers, Venous Ulcers, Pressure Sores
|
The BioBeam 660 treatment device promotes clinically tested healing in chronic non-healing wounds such as diabetic and venous ulcers, bedsores and post-operative wounds.
The BioBeam 660 is a drug free and pain free red light handheld medical OTC device. The device emits at 630nm at two modes: Continuous Wave (CW) and/or Pulse Wave (PW).
The light penetrates up to 1.5 cm into the soft cell tissue and so acts on the entire site of the inflammation while releasing factors, which stimulate fibroblast proliferation and mediators of wound repair.
The device is lightweight and portable and can be used anytime anywhere, at home or in the office.
Instructions&Specification
Recommended illumination is 1-2 times a day, six-seven minutes on each infected area.
The device is lightweight and portable while an optional extension arm can be used to make the treatment "hands free."

Usage Instructions
- Plug the AC adaptor (6) into the BioBeam 660 device using the plug (1) at the end of the cord (a round plug with a hole in the middle). Do not use any other power supply.
Important:
Use only the power AC adaptor supplied by the BioBeam 660 manufacturer.
- Make sure the operation switch (2) is in the OFF position.
- Plug the AC adaptor into the correct voltage wall outlet (see voltage indicated on the AC adaptor).
Warning:
- Keep light away from eyes during use.
- Hold the instrument at a distance of 2.5-3 cm from the treated area, for coverage of an area approximately 2-3 cm in diameter. Each area of this size should be illuminated for 6-8 minutes. Treatments are recommended twice a day. The instrument can be kept at the correct distance from the face by use of the enclosed ring (5) which should be touching the face.
- To operate, move the operation switch (2) to the CW position. A green indicator light (3) lights up while the BioBeam 660 in use, signifying that the device is working properly. If this indicator light begins to blink, the BioBeam 660 is not working properly and must be taken in for servicing.
- After treatment is completed, move the operation switch (2) to OFF and only then remove the AC adaptor (8) from the wall outlet.
- Flexible extension arm: The arm is sold separately in its own package. The flexible extension arm allows "hands off" treatment of hard-to-reach areas (such as the back).
